The following is the difference between Tensan TS-1101 thermal grease and other thermal greases:

Thermal Conductivity


  • Tensan TS-1101 Thermal Grease:With a thermal conductivity as high as 4.5 W/(m·K), it has excellent thermal conductivity and can quickly and effectively conduct heat from the heat source to the heat dissipation device, performing well among high-end thermal grease products.
  • Ordinary Thermal Grease:The thermal conductivity is generally around 0.8-3.0 W/(m·K), and its thermal conductivity is relatively weak. It may not meet the requirements for rapid heat dissipation in some electronic components with high heat generation power.
  • Silver-Containing Thermal Grease:By adding silver oxide compounds or silver powder to enhance thermal conductivity, its thermal conductivity can reach 5.0 W/(m·K) or more. However, the price is relatively high, and the electrical conductivity of silver may bring certain electrical safety hazards .

Temperature Stability


  • Tensan TS-1101 Thermal Grease:It can work stably in a wide temperature range from -45℃ to 200℃. Within this temperature range, the grease will not dry out, pulverize, or harden, and always maintain good thermal conductivity and paste state, adapting to various harsh working environments.
  • Ordinary Thermal Grease:Generally, it has a relatively narrow working temperature range. At high temperatures, it may dry out and pulverize, resulting in a decrease in thermal conductivity. At low temperatures, it may become too viscous or even solidify, affecting the heat dissipation effect .

Insulation Performance


  • Tensan TS-1101 Thermal Grease:It has excellent electrical insulation performance, which can effectively prevent electrical problems such as short circuits in the circuit, ensuring the safe operation of electronic equipment, and can be widely used in various electronic equipment with strict insulation requirements.
  • Ordinary Thermal Grease:The insulation performance varies. Some ordinary greases may have a decrease in insulation performance under special environments such as high temperature and high humidity, and there are certain safety risks in some application scenarios of high-voltage and sensitive circuits .

Wettability


  • Tensan TS-1101 Thermal Grease:Using advanced nano-thermal conductive materials and formulations, it has high wettability and can perfectly wet the contact interface, effectively eliminating deep air, thereby significantly reducing the interface thermal resistance and improving the thermal conductivity efficiency .

Service Life


  • Tensan TS-1101 Thermal Grease:It has a long service life. Under normal use conditions, it can maintain stable thermal conductivity for a long time without frequent replacement, reducing maintenance costs and workload .
  • Ordinary Thermal Grease:After about half a year to one year of use, it may gradually dry out and pulverize, losing its thermal conductivity and requiring regular replacement .

Application Range


  • Tensan TS-1101 Thermal Grease:It is suitable for a variety of electronic devices, such as computer CPUs, GPUs, chips, microwave communication, microwave transmission equipment, microwave dedicated power supplies, regulated power supplies, transistors, thermistors, temperature sensors, automotive electronic components, automotive refrigerators, power modules, printer heads, etc .
  • Ordinary Thermal Grease:It is mainly suitable for the heat dissipation of general-power electronic devices. For some special-requirement devices, such as server chips with high power density and high-performance graphics cards, it may not provide sufficient heat dissipation guarantee .
